Belonging White often gets the worst cards in a cycle and at first I thought that had happened here too, but looking more closely I actually think Belonging is really good

This card retains the same effects as its earlier editions, with the enchantment allowing players to cast spells from their hand without any mana costs, meaning that high mana cards could be played with little effect on the preservation of mana

Trample and effects that say damage cant be prevented wont help them get through, and abilities which trigger on combat damage get denied

Im not 100% sold on Soul Diviner, since there arent too many good counters to plunder outside of planeswalkers and loyalty seems way too valuable to cash in for cards

It is, however, kind of creepy - and itll have you thinking twice about running near your Christmas tree
